The Military Analyst, Senior/SOCOM Cyber Assessment Analyst III supports US Special Operations Command in executing Joint collective training and exercises to prepare Special Operation Forces (SOF) to plan and execute SOF operations. SOF exercises are conducted worldwide, with interaction between Headquarters US Special Operations Command, SOF Component Commands, Conventional Forces and Partner nations. The successful candidate will provide support to Joint Exercise Life Cycle events associated with US Special Operations Command Enterprise-Wide Exercise and Training Program (UEWTEP), USSOCOM Battle-staff, Geographical Combatant Command ELLIPSE Exercises, TSOC and Partner Nation events. A key feature of this position is support for Cyberspace activities to include exercise integration and execution support of Cyber and associated Network capabilities. The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate advanced subject matter expertise in information security, contribute to and may lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership. The successful candidate will execute the following duties:
- Conduct strategic, operational, combat, and munitions effectiveness assessment as directed for cyber operations. Participate in working groups, planning groups, and coordination boards.
Participate as part of an operational planning team to develop an assessment plan for operations and develop measures of performance and effectiveness in support of operational assessment.
Conduct target research, assess if weapons systems are performing as expected. Recommend potential re-attack options, provide input to determine if the operation met Commander's objectives.
Develop munitions effectiveness assessments (MEA) or operational assessment materials.
Provide MEA or operational assessment support to time sensitive target (TST) operations, provide analyses and support for combat assessment (CA), assist in course of action (COA) development.
Work closely with planners, intelligence analysts, and collection managers to ensure intelligence requirements and collection plans are accurate and up-to-date.
Develop measures of effectiveness (MOEs) and measures of performance (MOPs).
Evaluate available capabilities against desired effects in order to provide effective weaponeering solutions. Provides operational after action reports and lessons learned reports.
Masters Degree, plus Command and Staff (Military Senior Joint Education) plus numerous Special Operations academic and training proficiency as demonstrated during the extensive years of Special ops experience.
More than 20 years operational and tactical Special Operations Force's (SOF) experience with relevant experience within the past two years with related experience in a field which provides the proposed incumbent with the overall knowledge to perform the tasks identified in the Governments Task Order. Knowledgeable of the USSOCOM Strategic Planning Process and posses More than five years' experience conducting joint and coalition operations and/or training Non-degree incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines for the designated job family including significant experience in Special Operations training and training support assignments within the SOF community; Past experience must have been directly related to analyzing Special Operations and doctrinal requirements across all SOF Training Domains (operational, institutional, and self-development) with the ability to assess and integrate required training support capabilities.

Documented management and supervisory experience. Must portray a clear understanding of SOF Training and Exercise Requirements. Must have an understanding of training doctrine and its applicability to live training domain. Valid State Driver's License. Meet the physical demand rating for the position (Able to lift 50lbs, physically navigate on foot through military training lands)
