Director of Teamwork
CLO is seeking a forward-thinking individual to lead a multi-faceted employment program for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
CLO is an innovative, nationally regarded agency providing a range of community services for adults and children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). CLO’s newest program, the Neighborhood Network (NN), was selected as Autism Speaks “most innovative community program”, internationally, in 2016, and serves individuals who need support to live independently in typical neighborhood apartments, town-homes, and condominiums.
CLO is creating an innovative model for employment we’re calling Teamwork (Two Employees Accomplish More Work) to provide meaningful and functional employment opportunities for individuals living in CLO’s Neighborhood Network. Teamwork is an apprentice and intern program where the supported individual works alongside an employee who is paid to perform a contracted job while also mentoring our intern/apprentice.
The Director of Teamwork will develop farm job opportunities at CLO’s Midnight Farm, create job assessments, interview, do job placement, oversee apprentices and mentors, and create relationships with community employers. Pay range is $45-50k DOE.
