School Bus Attendant:
-Approximately 4 hours per day, $15.00/hour, 10-month position (follows school calendar
September-June);
- Duties include riding on the school bus in the morning & afternoon to assist students on/
off bus, make sure students are seated and assist bus driver in maintaining order for the safety
of everyone.
-Training Provided
-Start date as soon as possible or August 28, 2024
Principal - Anticipated High School
The Adirondack Central School District is anticipating an opening for a High School Principal. Successful candidate must be a committed and innovation leader who can form trusting and authentic relationships with students, families and staff. Effective communication skills and attention to details are a must. The successful candidate will work with staff to create a safe and productive learning environment for all students and provide leadership in the continuous improvement of educational programming and services.
NYS Certification to be a School Building Leader (SBL) required. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure track position. Salary/benefits are per the Adirondack Administrators' Association contract.
Special Education Teacher
The Adirondack Central School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide each child a program of study that meets his/her individual needs, interests, and abilities, create an environment conducive to learning to the maturity and interest of the students, guide students' learning towards the achievement of curricular goals and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities grades 5-9 or Students with Disabilities 7-12 or Special Education K-12 required. This is a full-time, 10-month position. Salary/benefits are per the Adirondack Teachers' Association contract. Start date of 8/28/24.
