Our busy auto parts store is looking for a knowledgeable parts manager to join the team. You must be committed to communicating and working with team members, service technicians, and DIY customers to ensure a positive store climate. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a working knowledge of automotive systems, and understands fundamental business concepts.

Responsibilities: Manage and grow professional relationships with customers and store team members. Manage the parts inventory closely for auto repair and sales needs. Order parts that meet cost and quality standards. Manage the schedule and engagement of store team members. Achieve store sales goals and service objectives Provide DIY assistance including battery installation, testing, wiper installation, etc. Work a schedule based on the needs of the business.

Skills: Ability to work with business applications on the computer. Ability to review and analyse business reports. Ability to train store team members in operational processes. Ability to locate and stock parts. Ability to access and follow safety procedures. Ability to work with a flexible schedule.

Education and Licenses: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study would be helpful but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
