Must be licensed in the State of California as Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Position is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Position provides quality ongoing support services and resources to resource (foster) families and children placed in Angels approved homes. Provide oversite to the monitoring and management of open foster care cases throughout placement. Provide clinical supervision to FFA Social Workers. Review and oversight of FFA Social Worker casework.


Comply with California State Foster Family Agency (FFA) and Community Care licensing regulations, mandated reporting requirements and Angels' agency standards. Provide liaison service to county and state agencies, schools, personnel, children in our care, their parents / relatives, Angels' resource parents, and the community. Be available by cell phone for any serious emergency or other situation requiring immediate attention of the agency. Perform any other duties that may be necessary or in the best interests of the agency. Ensure the confidential and complete maintenance of client's case files. Meet regularly with the Program Director. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other staff, agencies, children in our care and their parents / relatives. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

* Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the FFA Social Worker team

o Maintain weekly supervision notes

o Maintain monthly CARF supervision notes

* Complete quarterly CARF Case Reviews

* If supervision is being performed for licensure, ensure hours are complete, accurate and signed

* Facilitate orientation and training of new FFA Social Workers

* Review and oversight of FFA Social Worker casework

* Ensure FFA Social Workers perform duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, best practices, policies, and procedures.

* Review/approve reports including Needs and Services Plans, Youth Status Reports, Incident Reports, etc.

o Track all Incident Reports in Box database

* Track ISFC family hours

* Monitor FFA Social Worker activities in Case Management database for compliance, thoroughness, and adherence to due dates.

* Conduct post placement interviews with families and capacity assessment meetings, as needed

* Attend CFTs and other meetings with families and CCM (e.g. concern / CAP meetings), as needed

* Track and report Resource Family Applicant pipeline and assign families to FFA Social Workers once Home Study is completed based on caseloads/fit of family and FFA Social Worker

* Conduct regular performance reviews of FFA Social Workers

* Perform FFA Social Work casework and/or carry a small caseload as needed, which would include the responsibilities/duties/functions/tasks listed on the FFA Social Worker position description.

* Schedule and manage support group, on-call, and back-up on-call rotations

* Review and sign PTO requests / manage PTO calendar

* Review and sign expense reports

* Manage/match respite needs with either Resource Family Applicants or respite families/families taking a break

* Manage respite-only families/families without CCM assignment; work with admin support to keep track of compliance for these families

* Meet with and comply with CCL investigations?

* Perform any other duties that may be necessary or in the best interests of the agency, including the creation and implementation of policies and protocols, as needed

* Participate in Leadership Meetings and perform leadership tasks, as needed

* Be available for after-hours consultation (back-up on-call) at least bi-weekly
