Azalea Orthopedics, a division of OrthoLoneStar - the largest independent orthopedic practice in Texas, is seeking an Ortho-trained Hand Surgeon to add to the East Texas division. East Texas was recently voted best place to live in Texas by USA Today and is a major medical center including a new medical school.
Azalea Orthopedics is an independent clinic specializing in general, sub-specialty orthopedics, and sports medicine in Tyler, Texas and surrounding East Texas community with 10 locations throughout the area. The Tyler medical community serves nearly 750,000 people in East Texas, of which over 100,000 live in Tyler. The practice works with 3 hospitals in Tyler: Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine and Joint Hospital, UT Health East Texas (UTHET), and Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital. Azalea was founded in 1993 with many founding partners still actively leading Azalea and the orthopedic industry for Texas as a division of OrthoLoneStar.
Requirements and Benefits: The physician will take trauma call for local hospitals, have some travel to Nacogdoches and Longview, and must be fellowship trained. Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of Texas and be Board-certified or Board-eligible.
