Position Function

Organize, coordinate, and provide administrative and secretarial support for the assigned Directors of Development; communicate with major donors, organizations, and university offices; maintain and update confidential information.

Minimum Education

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of two years of education and related experience in secretarial science, office administration, or related field, or two years of related experience in secretarial science, office administration, or related field.

Minimum Experience

One year of secretarial, office, or related experience.

Minimum Other

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Experience

Additional administrative or database experience; efficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel; prior Ball State experience; experience working with clients or donor relations.

Provide administrative and secretarial support for assigned Directors of Development; compose, format, and prepare general office correspondence, reports, agendas, and proposals; provide general office and reception support; answer phones; greet visitors; copy documents, open and prioritize mail; organize Director's filing systems and offices.
