ABOUT THE ROLE

Bloom launched in New York in August of 2023. With a focus on increasing market share in New York, we are looking for a Sales Manager to represent the brand across the state. The New York market is an exciting and competitive landscape with continued license rollout, unique regulations and an eager consumer base. This role will be integral in helping native this dynamic market and achieve revenue goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

● Directly manage the designated territory to achieve quarterly revenue, new account penetration, and product adoption.

● Cultivate relationships with key retailers, industry groups, and other local stakeholders/partners.

● Seek new business opportunities within the territory and grow the number of active accounts

● Plan and perform sales calls, retail appointments, and site visits.

● Manage and maintain Trade Expenditure goals within the region or territory.

● Work with the VP of Retail Execution and CO-CEO to establish clear, targeted sales goals and monitor progress-to-goal consistently.

● Routine visits at retail accounts to evaluate client needs and promote product sales.

● Schedule promotions and events to educate consumers and budtenders.

● Collaborate with Brand Specialists to develop accounts and execute events.

● Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize online assets, visual merchandising and presence in shelf space and display cases.

● Generate cash flow by facilitating collections efforts. Delivery of invoices, collection dates, and escalating collection issues.

Commission structure: 3% of total sales

Travel up to 70% within the region

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the Cannabis, CPG, or Alcohol industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of selling premium quality grade products and managing a broad portfolio of products.
  • Must display excellent communication skills, interpersonal, written, and verbal
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • Proficiency using Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Must have experience handling high volume incoming calls, emails, text messages
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
