2024 Sandell Grant and Dissertation Fellowship Programs
The Center for Retirement Research at Boston College is now accepting applications for two funding opportunities:
2024 Steven H. Sandell Grant Program
- The Sandell Grant provides the opportunity for a junior or non-tenured scholar to pursue a project on retirement or disability policy. The program is open to scholars in all academic disciplines.
- One $50,000 grant will be awarded for a one-year project.
- Read the proposal guidelines and apply online.
- Applications must be received by April 30, 2024.
2024 Dissertation Fellowship Program
- The Dissertation Fellowship supports a doctoral candidate writing a dissertation on retirement or disability policy. The program is open to scholars in all academic disciplines.
- One fellowship of $28,000 will be awarded.
- Read the proposal guidelines and apply online.
- Applications must be received by April 30, 2024.
Individuals from historically underrepresented or underserved backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Both programs are sponsored by the U.S. Social Security Administration.
