Adjunct Faculty: Electrical Power and Distribution Systems-Workforce & Economic Development - Bunker Hill Community College

BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Electrical, Power, Utility, and Technology (EPUT) Program beginning Fall 2024.

Opening available in the following course(s):

EPU-257 Power and Distribution Systems; Remote/Online, Wednesdays, 8:30 AM - 11:15 AM

This course introduces the basic concepts of electrical power systems. Subject areas include electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution. Distribution system layout, distribution transformers, transmission line fault calculations and transmission line protection will also be covered.

• Master's Degree in related field or in any field combined with related work experience.
• Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom.
• College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Salary: $1,291.00 per credit hour

Effective Date: Fall 2024 semester, open until filled
