Position Overview

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition as part of the talent acquisition and human resources team at Butler University, as part of the talent acquisition and human resources team at Butler University, you will create and execute results-oriented comprehensive recruitment plans consistent with the strategic vision of the University.

This role will predominantly be based on campus, fostering direct interaction and collaboration within the university community.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all recruiting activity, including but not limited to job advertising, sourcing, interviewing and candidate selection.
  • Partner with hiring managers to review and discuss open requisitions, job requirements, interview panel, timeline, and identify critical issues to address during interviews.
  • Serve as a liaison between candidates and Butler University, ensuring all communications are prompt and professional and create a positive, seamless and engaging process resulting in a great candidate experience presenting Butler as the employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state recruiting regulations and hiring practices.
  • Continually update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data accuracy enabling analysis of recruitment metrics (e.g., funnel yield, time-to-hire, and productivity of sources).
  • Provide ongoing analytical reporting on recruiting efforts and trends, and continuously improve the talent acquisition process to meet the changing needs of the business and provide best-in-class recruitment support.
  • Support other administrative recruiting and on-boarding duties as assigned or needed to support the overall success of the team.​
Required Qualifications
  • ​​Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related role; consideration will be given to equivalent combinations of education and experience, including internships.
  • Proficiency in posting jobs on social media platforms and job boards.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, sourcing, and recruitment marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Effective multitasking and time management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple searches and provide high-quality service to internal clients
