Production Manager 

We are seeking a hands-on manager to lead and manage people. You will be responsible for all aspects of the property, including pre-press operations, press – both a Goss/DGM newspaper press as well as a Heidelberg sheet fed press and mailroom/bindery. Must have minimum of 5 years of management experience in a prepress/press production setting and must be a proficient newspaper press operator. Knowledge of CtP is helpful.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of web offset printing, sheet fed printing and press maintenance, and a good understanding of the plate process. You must also understand purchasing practices, be able to set up effective inventory control procedures and be able to plan and implement a department budget.
