Wastewater Reclamation Facility Opportunity

The City of Fruita, Colorado is currently seeking a Colorado Certified Wastewater Operator to perform a variety of skilled technical duties and semi skilled labor in the operation and maintenance of the City's 2.33 MGD treatment facility. This facility is a BNR process with ATAD solids handling. Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Class “D,” or higher, Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification issued by the Colorado Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator Certification Board. Motivated individuals with education/experience in natural sciences, skilled labor trades, or other related fields are encouraged to apply. Starting hourly rate varies from $20.63 to $29.58, depending upon certification level and experience.
