Showplace Landscape Services has been providing high quality professional landscape management services in the Portland metro area since 1988.  We service primarily homeowners’ associations and commercial properties and take great pride in our workmanship and superior customer service.

We are seeking a full-time maintenance account manager to join our team of highly experienced and quality professionals:

Skills and Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Computer skills.
• Understanding of company policy and procedures.
• Ability to identify common shrubs, trees and perennials.
• Knowledge of plant material and basic landscape design.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and drainage.
• Knowledge of insect and disease issues.
• Supervision and organization skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Responding to requests in a timely manner.
• Returning phone calls and emails promptly.
• Professional appearance and communication in dealing with clients and the public.
• Pesticide license is helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our landscape maintenance clients, including working closely with board members and property managers.
• Professionally representing the company at all times, while in the field or operating company vehicles.
• Hiring, leading and supervising of landscape professionals in the irrigation repairs, extra work and enhancement services.
• Providing direction as needed to ensure highest level of quality and productivity within the specified budget.
• Communicating with operations in a positive manner regarding any maintenance issues and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Generating and maintaining work schedules.
• Ensuring the highest safety practices and knowledge of the most efficient use of tools and equipment.
• Overseeing coordination of irrigation repairs, extra work and enhancement services at assigned maintenance accounts, including assurance of proper watering at all properties.
• Ensuring that work is completed in a quality and timely manner.
• Proactively inspecting properties for any landscaping issues and needed extra services.
• Estimating and preparing of proposals.
• Responding quickly to emergency situations that may arise.
