Drew University is seeking an Admissions Operations Specialist in the Department of Enrollment Management. This is a 12-month full-time (35 hours per week) non-exempt

position reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management Systems. The Admissions Operations Specialist is a critical position responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate

processing of admissions inquiries and applications. In addition to technical skills, collaboration, positive attitude, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and follow through will be essential

for success in the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scan and Index application materials for prospective students in Slate
  • Update data on applications as new materials are received
  • Check decisions for errors and release decision letters
  • Coordinate the mailing of admission packets
  • Write Slate queries identifying groups of prospects/applicants as needed
  • Provide customer service to email inquiries
  • Investigate and resolve errors related to admissions records in Slate and Banner
  • Inventory all publications
  • Office manager duties such as ordering supplies
  • Occasionally provide backup for front desk reception and phone
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Slate (or another CRM) and Ellucian Banner preferred
