Job Summary/Basic Functions

Teaches part-time for the aviation program at Eastern Kentucky University. Primary responsibility is to teach Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Flight Operations which covers the techniques and best practices required to safely and successfully utilize and operate drones for commercial purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Aviation or related field or at least five years of work experience in aviation.

Licensure & Certifications: FAA UAS license is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred - the successful candidate will have experience in the commercial application of UAS/drone systems

Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the needs of the unit, available sponsorship budget, and the qualifications of the candidate.
