Position: Field Technician – Environmental Waste Minimization, Inc.
Primary Duties & Expectations:
* Work in EWMI’s remediation division which entails; physical labor, heavy equipment
operation, working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, etc.
* Project assignments include working with hazardous and non-hazardous wastes,
confined space environments and other environmental remediation and construction
work.
* Successful performance and completion of any company related tasks.
* Support of Rapid Response, Inc. by responding and assisting in emergency spill clean
ups.
* Have the ability to solve problems and the potential of becoming a team leader.
* Understand drum and container management and have a working knowledge
of/willingness to learn DOT and EPA/RCRA regulations.
* This position requires overnight travel!
* A positive attitude and ability to be a team player is required.
* Performances of all duties are to be conducted with safety as the top priority.
Compensation package:
Wage: Hourly - based on experience
Sundays: 2 x hourly rate; Holidays: 2.5 x hourly rate
All related business expenses (Tolls, mileage, etc.)
Per Diem: $50/night for overnight travel……$75.00/night for COVID impacted activities.
Safety Gear: Safety shoes, Safety glasses, all necessary Safety Equipment and Apparel
Company apparel (uniforms, shirts, jackets, etc.)
Paid Holidays – 9 days

Paid Time Off PTO - Fifteen (15) multi-use days (vacation, personal, sick, etc.) accrued annually.
