Job Summary

Assists with the development and implementation of programs and services for the Center for Leadership & Service. This position serves as the advisor for Alternative Breaks and Relay for Life programs. Leads and implements departmental efforts to develop relationships with community partners and oversees the GivePulse platform.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of programs and services for the Center for Leadership & Service.
  • Advises Relay for Life student committee and serves as community partner liaison.
  • Directs the Alternative Breaks program as the lead advisor by serving as a dual campus role to support student leadership and participants. Provides vision for the program, leadership development, risk management, assessment, and manages the program budget campus-wide.
  • Leads the development of Community partnerships and oversees the GivePulse platform.
  • Supervises a Staff member and/or Graduate Assistant(s).
  • Serves as a dual Procard user for departmental transactions. Assures compliance and adherence to University credit card policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and four (4) years of related experience, or Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and two (2) years related experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization (Higher education, college Student Personnel, counseling, social work, etc.) preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with college student population preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing Alternative Breaks and community engagement programs is preferred.
