CEO
CEO will provide leadership across all operations and programs, including management of staff, day-to-day administration, financial forecasting and budgeting, community outreach, marketing, and fundraising. CEO will also develop and maintain policies and procedures for all staff functions; ensure fiscal responsibility over the budget. Working closely with the Board of Directors, CEO will help to maintain, develop, and implement major fundraising initiatives through donor relations, annual campaigns, grants, and events.
Qualifications
* Strong business management and supervisory experience, 5 years supervisory preferred
* 3 years of Non-profit experience preferred
* Expertise with a proven track record in fundraising
* Good financial skills in budgeting and forecasting
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
* Ability to engage the public and serve as an effective ambassador and spokesperson
High priority roles and responsibilities for CEO will include, but are not limited to:
Serving as the public face of FNEI, and strengthening its collaborations with community and governmental organizations
Leading efforts to develop new and expanded financial support to meet the organization's mission
Managing with transparency, open communication, and teamwork
Leading strategic planning and priority setting initiatives
Cultivating a productive and effective working relationship with the Board of Directors
Preferred qualifications of the next CEO include, but are not limited to:
Successful leadership in a multimillion-dollar organization
Five years of management experience involving staff supervision, financial oversight and reporting, budget development, and compliance with grant and contract requirements
Demonstrated success in resource development, including private fundraising and grant writing
Demonstrated success in developing and executing all aspects of large-scale fundraising events, including managing volunteer committees
Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing vendor contracts
Demonstrated experience working successfully with organizations and individuals with diverse perspectives
Personal qualities will include professionalism, open-mindedness, flexibility; the ability to make tough decisions; a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Required:
Must be available for evening and weekend responsibilities such as programming events, trips, professional development, etc.
Additional Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's in Educational Leadership, Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience using financial software and related reporting software
- 5 years of experience developing, leading, and managing and program operations.
