The Accountant will be responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end close procedures by booking journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts. The Accountant will have responsibilities over revenue, cost of revenue, media expense accruals, A/R, bad debt, and intercompany revenue transactions.
Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understand underlying business and related processes as a foundation for responsibilities.
· Prepare monthly roll-forward schedules, account reconciliations, and other month-end close requirements. Ensure that all accruals have adequate supporting documentation, and review for reasonableness and trends as per accrual procedures and guidelines.
· Work with Accounting Manager and various stakeholders to facilitate monthly accrual calculations and intercompany variances.
· Analyze and research income statement and balance sheet fluctuations.
· Support Accounting Manager with various process improvement projects, including but not limited to, the implementation of policies, procedures, and controls.
· Work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen understanding of deadlines.
· Adapt to a constantly changing environment and to evaluate current processes, make recommendations and implement viable solutions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
· General ledger accounting experience.
· Able to work independently as well as with cross-functional groups.
· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills required.
· Strong verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $92,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
