Position: Promotions Production, Design and Technology Manager

Overview:

Join USA Today Network Ventures and Promotions, which supports Gannett with

Promotions resources companywide. This role is ideal for individuals that possess strong marketing, design, and digital skills.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing elements for multichannel promotions.
  • Concept development as well as market ready sales collateral, print and digital promotion, email marketing (HTML/CSS skills)and social campaigns.
  • Build Online Promotions using Second Street platform CMS.
  • Customize Collateral and House Ads for Promotions that are aligned to events as well as promotions that leverage market opportunity.
  • Project management for each promotion ensuring deadlines for registration and execution are achieved.
  • Work with local markets for campaign development and support markets with great customer service skills, very often juggling several campaigns at the same time.

 

Required Skills:

  • Development of Print, Digital, Email and Social Marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Programs (Excel and Word)
  • Advanced HTML/CSS experience
  • Strong Excel (use of formulas) experience
  • Experience working with various CMS platforms.
  • Experience doing social posts thru CMS platform (specifically SND)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Email campaign best practices preferred.
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
  • Copywriting skills preferred.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $59,400 and $122,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
