Associate Veterinarian Full or Part-Time with Signing Bonus

Full or Part-time Associate Veterinarian wanted to join our privately-owned, well established, multi-doctor, well-equipped small animal AAHA practice in Virginia Beach that strongly believes in a work life balance. We love to work hard and play hard. Our mission is SIMPLE. We simply strive to provide our patients and clients with excellent care. We are looking for a caring, compassionate and self-motivated candidate capable of providing high quality medical, surgical and dental care. We are looking for a candidate that is willing and eager to learn and share new skill sets. Excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of the importance of client education and customer services are a must.

• 5 DVM practice, seeking additional DVM
• There are very few independently owned general practices of our size and caseload remaining on the East Coast
• Every DVM has input on protocols and procedures. We work as a team to introduce the most up to date medicine and care for our patients
• We have the flexibility to give you the full or part time schedule you prefer
• All appointments are scheduled (No Walk-In's!)
• Quality over Quantity - we allow for flexibility in our schedule for patients or clients that may require more time
• Currently under-going a full hospital renovation from top to bottom (expected completion date October 2024)
• Pro-sal compensation package reflective of DVM experience and number of hours working (Our DVMs are set up for success, so they have no trouble hitting their production pay). Our clientele encourages practicing the very best medicine.

• Generous CE allowance, dependent on DVMs area of interest

We are located within a freestanding 10,000 square foot facility with a wonderful and dedicated support staff. We are a former 3x winner of the award for Best Veterinarian and Animal Hospital in Virginia Beach by the Virginian Pilot and Best Veterinarian and Animal Hospital by Coastal Virginia Magazine. We offer a four day work week with rotating Saturdays and no after hours emergencies for full time veterinarians. We offer a full package of benefits. Skills and Basic Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Virginia
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
