The George Mason University Office of Admissions is seeking a motivated and versatile individual with flexible work hours for a part-time position as a Document Center Specialist. About the Position:
The primary duties of this position are repetitive and desk based. Some light lifting is required.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Opening, sorting, and preparing physical documents for scanning;
- Scanning, processing, and filing documents;
- Ensuring all processed documents adhere to specific standards;
- Maintaining organization of digital file storage;
- Assisting other internal offices with document-related requests;
- Handling confidential information with tact and professionalism;
- Maintaining logs, reports, and assisting with audits;
- Participating in varied training sessions; and
- Working under leadership of the Document Center Manager and Team Leaders and in constant collaboration with fellow Document Center Specialists.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Demonstrated ability to perform work with substantial attention to detail;
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated;
- Experience with prioritizing tasks in a deadline-driven environment;
- Flexible and able to adapt to frequent process changes;
- Demonstrated organizational skills;
- Demonstrated work ethic and professionalism;
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest levels of discretion; and
- Ability to shift between individual and collaborative work frequently.
- Previous document imaging/indexing experience;
- Data entry experience;
- Experience with Ellucian Banner and/or Salesforce; and
- Bilingual.
