The Marketing and Communications Manager will develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for the firm, enhance the firm's online presence and support internal communication initiatives.

The position requires a strategic leader, with proven critical thinking skills, who can partner with other administrative and executive team members to achieve business objectives. Candidates must have a client service focus, possess strong writing and communications skills and have a high degree of emotional intelligence to help successfully navigate a growing law firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a firm-wide marketing plan.
  • Identify, drive, and oversee new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives to achieve the revenue growth objectives of the firm.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing strategies with the overall strategic business objectives.
  • Oversee the rollout of the firm's client contact database (CRM), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and manage a firm-wide marketing budget.
  • Propose, monitor and track the firm's participation in sponsorships, speaking engagements, and writing opportunities.
  • Develop and implement brand awareness strategies and activities on social media platforms and other relevant channels.
  • Enhance the firm's website, LinkedIn page, and other online profiles.
  • Work closely with attorneys to develop and implement individual business and marketing plans, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Update and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all materials.
  • Support HR with internal communications, ensuring clear and effective communication of firm policies, initiatives, and updates.
  • Coordinate firm events, including retreats, inter-office events, and holiday parties.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Self-starter and leader with accomplished critical thinking skills and a thorough understanding of the value proposition.
  • Experience and ability to plan strategically, execute tactically and have a client service focus.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies in the legal industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other marketing tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and other stakeholders.
