Senior Staff Accountant

Huntington University has an opening for a Senior Staff Accountant. The senior staff accountant is responsible for accounting and general ledger functions of the University including financial reporting, annual audits, and preparing and managing budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS -Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a strong desire to serve others and a commitment to being a faithful steward of university resources -Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ -Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education preferred -Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant license required -Positive interpersonal skills and a team player -Excellent communications skills -Possess a high level of problem solving skills -Ability to execute multiple projects and tasks concurrently -Proficiency in Word, Excel and account software is needed -Demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills -Commitment to continuous process improvement This is a full time, 12 month exempt position with benefits.
