Title: Integrations Engineer

Job Duties: Provide engineering support to the Material Coordinator’s activities and Quality Control activities. Ensure all items have been accounted for prior to assembly in the Integration Bay and ensure that all mechanical assemblies have been thoroughly checked before entering into the Integration Bay. Draft and maintain Project Floor Drawings (Integration & Assembly Buildings) and maintain the Master Plan Drawing. Coordinate all drawings with Lead Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, CEO, PM, BD prior to issuance. Develop customer product tests, R&D, proof of concept, and maintain material locations within buildings. Confirm that equipment is set up in the shop in the correct place prior to anchoring and coordinate with purchasing on large items and Integrated Orders being shipped to IH and have knowledge where these items will be located. Create Electrical Machine Builders Manufacturing schedules and coordinate with head machine builder. Responsibilities also include managing supplies for Electrical Field materials, create cable basket drawings and tagging methods, initiate electrical panel checkout from EE of record and oversee any Interns and identify their needs. Provide electrical integration progress reports that detail what has been done and what is left to do, and mechanically support the electrical engineers with dimensions, drafting/releasing brackets and guards as needed. Ensure that all jobs are being installed properly and field confirm that wiring techniques are followed. Develop debug & testing plans, conduct electrical I/O check before debugging begins, coordinate with start-up engineers and or start-up contractors at IH. Facilitate testing by directing personnel to help load/unload the system that is being tested. Facilitate run-off/testing with queued product, work with engineering to determine what product is needed and in what order. The candidate will be expected to create standard documentation for testing all safety devices and conduct thorough testing of equipment to recover from various faults. Create and maintain urgency during the debug process and be the spearhead that pushes the group to the finish line. Facilitate active and regularly updated Debug punch lists and communicate these items with the project manager and relevant parties. Create clear and thorough FAT testing plans, test material requests and route them through the project manager. Participate in customer FAT, provide technical knowledge of equipment to customers, and coordinate disposal of test material at end of a project. Coordinate Punch List items between Project Manager and manufacturing and ensure Punch List has been completed in a timely manner. Help the Engineer of record with drawing revisions for equipment that is in the shop and work in tandem with the engineer of record to create revision packages for equipment on the shop floor, allowing other engineers to remain on jobs they are designing. Create truck drawings & receive approval from lead machine builder of shipping plan. Coordinate with purchasing on quantity of trucks, bills of lading and timing of shipments. Ensure that items are tagged if applicable, shipped items are accurate and provide reports to the Project Manager regarding the Shipping Plans. The candidate will be expected to provide parts lists to the Project Manager upon request, conduct pricing on spare parts upon request, maintain operating and maintenance manuals, and provide shipping pictures. Lastly, the Integration Engineer will provide Deliverables to the Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Factory Acceptance Teams. Which includes the implementation of drawing revisions and sets of drawing release priorities. They will ensure all components are on hand prior to assembly and create integrations plans. Serve as liaison between engineering and manufacturing and execute punch lists, create testing plans, organize test materials and ensure all documentation is complete.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and must have 24 months of related experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
