Customer Service Representative:  The Customer Service Representative operates with empathy and understanding while providing patients with a positive experience over the phone. Our Customer Service Representatives understand that client and patient satisfaction is at the core of Kopp's success through processing payments over the phone, assisting patients with billing questions or providing guidance on financial assistance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides patients with a positive and engaging experience.
  • Works with patients to provide suitable payment arrangements.
  • Obtains insurance information from patients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate with patients effectively and compassionately.
  • Demonstrated experience learning new technologies.
  • Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

Medical Biller:  The Medical Biller submits medical claims to insurance companies and subsequent billing.  Our billers work directly with insurance companies, providers, and patients to get claims processed quickly and paid correctly. They work closely with their team members in order to support our clients and achieve Kopps mission.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducts initial medical claim submission, completes itemized bills and charge entry/billing edits.
  • Performs accounts receivable follow-up on accounts, reviewing EOB’s to identify possible errors.
  • Problem solve and quickly identify issues/trends.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in Medical Billing
  • Great communication skills with team members, patients, clients, and insurance companies
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
