Description
The Lafayette College Office of Admissions is seeking an energetic person to fill the full-time, in- person role of admissions visitation coordinator. General responsibilities for the admissions visitation coordinator include:

● Providing daily support for admissions visitation & event programming

● Managing student ambassadors alongside admissions visitation team members

● Planning large-scale in-person and virtual events efficiently and effectively, with an eye for detail

● Working with the Admissions team to produce effective communication of events to appropriate audiences

● Daily interaction in-person, by phone or via virtual platforms, with prospective, accepted, and enrolled students and their families

● Serving on internal teams that advance the larger enrollment division's cause as an energized and goal-oriented operation.

● Generating and manipulating reports from the Slate CRM.


Qualifications
Qualifications of a successful candidate:

● Must hold a bachelor’s degree

● A valid driver’s license is required

● Strong customer service skills

● Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

● Be able to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects concurrently

● Be able to effectively engage students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds

● Ability to multitask and prioritize complex and competing tasks

● Have some experience interacting with the public

● Strong writing skills, and knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Slack a plus

● Event planning experience a plus
