Associate Attorney

Livens & Reed, PLLC is a small elder law firm that assists clients with estate planning, probate, and applying for Medicaid benefits. The firm currently has 3 lawyers and is looking to add another lawyer to help meet clients and draft documents. The new member of the firm would be assigned some drafting work from the managing partner, but would have the opportunity to meet new clients as well.

A large portion of the work would be assisting clients with applying for Medicaid benefits. The new member must enjoy working with elderly clients and have good patience. A lot of our clients are older and have some diminished capacity that requires repeating yourself or speaking slowly. No experience is required. All we ask is for a good heart and strong work ethic. We are willing to teach the right candidate.

The firm is open from 8:00 to 5:00 Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 to 2:30 on Friday. The firm offers monthly bonuses based on overall firm performance and quarterly bonuses based on personal performance.

Applicant must have passed the bar exam.
