Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and execute Loyola's corporate and employer relationship plan to drive new enrollments for the university.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate and employer outreach that may lead to mutually beneficial academic programming, experiential learning, and career opportunities.
  • Identify educational needs of external organizations and collaborate with internal partners to develop credit and non-credit academic offerings that meet those needs.
  • Design and host relevant events that foster stronger relationships between external organizations and key units within the university.
  • Facilitate relationship building between key university partners (deans, department heads, faculty) and leaders in external organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop proposals for academic credit and non-credit programs based on the expressed needs of external organizations.
  • Develop and propose tuition-pricing strategies, including volume discounts, to increase net tuition revenue for the university.
  • Enhance market awareness of Loyola's corporate partnerships, customized programming, and the full range of academic offerings to secure contract programs with external organizations.
  • Collaborate with faculty, university partners, and companies to shape and execute strategic engagements that support the research and educational missions of the university and meet the goals of corporate partners.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Loyola's office of corporate and foundation relations, schools, academic centers, and divisions involved in corporate relations.
  • Establish a Corporate Engagement Advisory Committee (CEAC) to develop a strategic action plan and set short- and long-term objectives.
  • Align and leverage existing corporate relationships across Loyola programs to capitalize on market opportunities, developing go-to-market plans for programs and core competencies.
  • Collaborate with University Marketing and Communications and the office of Enrollment Management to develop marketing and communication strategies and collateral that promote Loyola and position it as a partner of choice.
  • Seek input from industry on research, development, and workforce training needs, and provide feedback to university divisions for informed investments and curricular/program development.
  • Develop success metrics (e.g., number of external contacts per month with organizational partners, number of contract programs with external organizations, number of students enrolled in the university's academic program, etc.) and monitor these metrics to ensure the office is meeting the university's enrollment and revenue targets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Master's degree in a related field supplemented with 5 years of work-related experience.

Qualifications
  • Prior professional experience in higher education or a corporate training and development environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the university.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach, with a responsiveness to the needs of faculty, students, staff, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.
  • Demonstrated achievements in a multifaceted leadership position within a complex University setting.
