ABOUT OUR DISTRICT

The Mission of the Malone Central School District is to produce a healthy, responsible, productive citizen who has acquired learning and is capable of contributing to a global community. We will accomplish this by providing an effective, innovative, dedicated, motivating staff using developmentally appropriate, relevant curriculum in an exciting, interactive environment conducive to learning by students prepared to learn. The Malone Central School District is located in northern Franklin County. The community offers a friendly, small-town environment in a picturesque setting that is basically rural in nature. Malone is the county seat for Franklin County with affordable housing made available. Malone offers many cultural, recreational, and leisure activities to meet a variety of interests. The majestic Adirondack Mountains to the south delight the citizens of our community as well as many visitors from all over the world. Local facilities such as the Malone Golf Club which offers two eighteen hole golf courses and the Titus Mountain Ski Area provide year-round relaxation along with the many beautiful streams, lakes and campgrounds. Our Canadian neighbors to the north, Ottawa and Montreal are within one and one-half hours driving time away.
