Senior Pipe Welder Specialist

Senior Pipe Welder Specialist. 6G certification is required.  Will perform both carbon and stainless welding with a combination of both structural and pipe welding positions with full transitions between them. The employee must be able to use all welding positions to complete their assigned tasks.  The employee must know what weld is particular to what job and what is required by the customer.  The employee must be at work and on time and conscious of the need of the customers.  A company vehicle will be provided to reach work locations. 

Each applicant must have 60 months (5 years) experience as a pipe welder.  Must have working knowledge of AWS, API, ANSI, and ASME codes and standards.  Knowledge and experience with welding equipment and processes are needed.  Must also have the ability to troubleshoot and to pay strong attention to detail.  Must have technical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.

The employee must also be up-to-date on all safety qualifications that is required.  Travel is required with this job depending on the job site location. The employee must work with customers and therefore must always be professional in every way.  Background, drug tests and MVR are required through background company and all must be passed before consideration.  With this position a welding test will be required before time of hire.

The travel requirements for this job will be local, within the North Carolina Triad region (primarily in and around Forsyth County). Travel for this job is determined by the job location. The employee must be willing to move from job to job according to location of construction.

Annual salary will be $53,000. Each work week will be 40 hours with overtime available as well.
