Second Shift Steel Warehouse Worker

Precision Horizontal Band Saw Operator:

Millennium Metals LLC, rapidly growing steel service company that has been in business for over 2 decades, is currently seeking an experienced FT precision horizontal band saw operator for our 2^nd shift (Amada 400 & Amada 250). 

Pay starting at $18 - $20/hr DOE.

Hours generally 1:00 – 10:30pm, M-F and an occasional W/E.  We are busy, so if you want OT, we will be happy to give you the hours!

The ideal candidate will have at least 6-12 months of extensive experience using Amada or similar saws with tolerances to .005”.  Additional skills and experience will also include:

• Overhead crane and forklift experience
• Rudimentary welding experience
• Basic math and logic skills to calculate and minimize scrap loss
• Excellent Attention to detail and organizational skills:
  • Identifying and receiving of material and paperwork
  • Properly identify material and tolerances on customer orders
  • Ability to track material and weights from original stock inventory, to cutting, to final product and calculate scrap loss

This position will require some heavy lifting, climbing, stooping, working outside as well as an understanding that you will get a little dirty.
