Job Description

This position serves as the expert user (super user) and primary departmental resource on the CBORD dining system software, 365 software, and Oracle Micros software and hardware. In addition, this position will provide support for Residential Life's Star Rez system and the AccessIT! Door access software.
  • Develop and maintain housing and dining processes utilizing specified software
  • Regularly review business practices, make suggestions for improvements and enhancements and liaison with vendors to troubleshoot issues or review business processes
  • Assist with testing for updates or tweaks to software
  • Develop reports and implementation of dashboards that are end user friendly
  • Provide accurate information and data to support business operations
  • Review and monitor reports for anomalies
  • Provide assistance and various levels of advice and information to constituents on related matters
  • Enable and document best practices for applications, procedures and processes, and keep up to date with relevant software and hardware
  • Analyze information to make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies
  • Work with IT at both the campus and system level to ensure proper integration of applications, provide advice and training to end users
  • May serve as tester during software upgrades or implementations
  • Maintain computer hardware inventory and procure new items on a rotational basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with relational database management
  • Familiarity with residence hall functions and programs
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,223 to $58,000 annually.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
