    Candidates must have:
    • A master of profession studies (MPS) or higher and be certified as a licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT)
    • a history of at least two years of successful teaching experience at the college level or equivalent.

    The adjunct faculty members are responsible for:
    • Preparing and delivering face to face instruction to undergraduate students in cooperation with the department's Chairperson and other faculty;
    • Using a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning and encourage active learning in all students;
    • Promptly assessing student's coursework and appraising students of progress;
    • Meeting with students before or after class if they need to in order to attend to their course related questions.
    The ideal candidate will possess the ability to relate well to a diverse population of community learners.

    SALARY INFORMATION

    When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as discipline specific knowledge, skills, education and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring salary range for this position is $1,130.00 per credit (Undergraduate Instructor) to $1,280.00 per credit (Graduate Assistant Professor). This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
