HVAC / Plumbing Instructor - Anticipated Vacancy for the 2024/2025 School Year

This anticipated vacancy is a permanent, full-time position.  Candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years documented work experience in air conditioning and plumbing, and must be able to successfully complete the trade competency tests in HVAC and Plumbing.  Applicants must also be able to obtain or have a required Pennsylvania teaching certification.  Teaching experience, industry and trade related certifications are a plus.  Applicants must be able to relate to and instruct high-school aged students, work independently and prepare lessons based upon a prescribed curriculum. Maintains an educational environment that affords each student the opportunity to develop necessary skills free from adverse peer pressure.  Maintains a working relationship with members of community-interest groups. Promotes a positive attitude regarding vocational education and its benefits to the industrial community.  Salary will commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with the current teacher salary schedule.  Current Federal and State clearances required.  (MCTI is part of the PA Public School Retirement System.)
