Maintenance Worker

Position:  Full-time Maintenance Worker
Hiring Salary: $42,694 to $53,368 Annually DOQ + Excellent Benefits Package
Closing Date: Until filled by qualified applicant
Beginning Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities include: routine building maintenance, grounds upkeep including parks, recreation fields, and trails, installation of E-911 road signs, and completion of maintenance work orders as assigned. Experience is necessary in basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs as well as routine maintenance, and the operation of lawn care and other maintenance equipment.

Successful candidate must have a valid/unrestricted driver’s license, have the ability to multi-task and courteously and effectively communicate with the public and County staff, to perform basic mathematical computations, and have the ability to operate large maintenance and lawn-care equipment. Occasional relief for Transfer Station Operators may require the ability to operate large equipment such as a bulldozer. Education equivalent to high school graduation is preferred.  Excellent benefit package offered.
