Teacher – Criminal Justice

OCM BOCES is seeking a teacher for the New Vision Criminal Justice program located at the Onondaga County Civic Center in Syracuse.  The OCM BOCES New Vision Criminal Justice program has a long history of providing interested, high-achieving high school seniors opportunities to study the components of law enforcement, as well as gain real-world connections and experiences in the field.  The successful candidate will plan class visitations and trips, guest speakers, shadowing opportunities, and community service projects.  Students will also receive English and Social Studies credits towards graduation.  NYS teaching certification, or willingness to work toward teaching certification, is required.  Experience in a related field is necessary.
