Job Description

The Database Administrator will manage and support the Division of Digital Learning through serving as a key contact for DDL hardware and software purchases and assessments, managing inventory for the division, and providing support in project management as assigned.

  • Extensive knowledge of inventory control and tracking policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Working knowledge of database management and asset inventory tracking software.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and information systems for data analysis, report preparation, and data manipulation.
  • Working knowledge of customer service techniques and problem-solving strategies.
  • Working knowledge of purchasing, budget tracking, and other fiscal-related functions.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and conduct research projects, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and presentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate policies and procedures to various audiences.
Special licenses, registration or certification

Certification and considerable hands-on experience with Cisco, VMware, Comp TIA Security, or Comp TIA Network+

Considerable experience in an administrative role supporting executive level positions. Some experience as an inventory and software specialist.

Conditions of Employment

On Campus position, working typical 40 hour work week

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate

Salary range between $ - $45,000-$53,000
