Summary:
Office responsibilities include basic accounts payable duties; invoice vouchering, check preparation, and managing files.
Essential Job Functions:
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
- Performs bookkeeping tasks such as goods receipt and accounts payable functions; as well as maintaining Vendor files and responding to emails in a professional manner.
- Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
- Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.
- Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables.
- Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment.
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
- Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures.
- Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment.
Job Requirements:

- Employee must be able to work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years administrative assistant or receptionist experience with executives or senior level managers.
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience with SAP
