The Department of Special Education at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a renewable one-year appointment lecturer position with a focus on applied behavior analysis. The duties of this 12-month position include assisting with development of our new online certificate program in applied behavior analysis, teaching online courses in applied behavior analysis, and supervising students enrolled in on-campus applied behavior analysis field placements.

Successful candidates will (a) hold a doctoral degree in special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field; (b) be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst; (c) be qualified to supervise trainees according to the requirements set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board; (d) have experience working with individuals with disabilities in educational settings; (e) have experience in practicing and preparing behavioral practitioners in evidence-based practices; and (f) be willing to reside locally in Nashville, TN. Successful candidates must also be committed to the provision of ethical and compassionate services developed in collaboration with other relevant providers, caregivers, and family members. Experience in developing and delivering graduate-level instruction in applied behavior analysis is required. Experience in developing and delivering online instruction is strongly preferred. Expertise in organizational behavior management and verbal behavior is desirable.
