Assistant Professor of Kinesiology

Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Kinesiology. An earned Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health and Human Performance or a related field is required.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with an academic emphasis and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas of sport and exercise studies: psychology and/or sociology. Candidates must possess a scholarship to warrant appointment to a tenure-track position with a preference for candidates who have a demonstrated program of research and secured grants and/or contracts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing the B. S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science Option at Penn State Harrisburg.

The assistant professor should possess a terminal degree or its equivalent in organized research or professional practice; must have demonstrated ability as a teacher or research worker; and must have shown definite evidence of growth in scholarly, artistic, or professional achievement.
