The School of Health Sciences in the College of Health and Human Services at Salisbury University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor within the School of Health Sciences. This is a 10-month, full-time tenure-track position. 

Area of Specialization: Health Science, Nutrition, or other closely-related health field.

Primary Job Duties: Primary responsibilities include teaching in the new Health Science major, the Health and Human Performance Program or other programs in the School of Health Sciences, depending on expertise, as well as conducting scholarship, and providing service to the school, university, community, and profession. Additional responsibilities include maintaining credentials and advising undergraduate students as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in a health professions field with expertise or experience in health science, nutrition, or interprofessional education/practice.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed journals in health science or closely related fields, research methodology, and university teaching experience.
