Senior Growth Manager (N.E.V)
Job Description
This position will be joining New Educational Ventures (NEV) at Sarah Lawrence College. NEV was established last year to create rapid expansion with distinctive educational offerings that build on the College's core competencies (i.e., Film, Creative Writing, and Genetic Counseling, a field we created) that will generate positive net revenue. While NEV shares College resources (e.g., HR, Finance, Marketing), its programs sit outside of the College. We have already launched a joint degree with NYU, the Genomics Institute to help grow and train a workforce to capture the promise of Precision Medicine to revolutionize healthcare, and are growing the Writing Institute.
The next major project on the horizon is launching a Film Institute. We will be working with successful advisors in the industry to help us develop a range of offerings, including a program that helps below the line talent (the crew involved with the day-to-day operations of getting the film made), which tends to be a more diverse workforce, into above the line roles like writer, producer. We need help analyzing current offerings in the market, understanding the competition, what is in demand, and where we could have the biggest impact.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for problem-solving, is creative about finding and analyzing data sources, and is excited about building new revenue streams through new educational models. Join our team to develop and implement innovative ventures in a rapidly changing education landscape. The role is hybrid.
