Sause Bros. is hiring Mates for Hawaii operations and Assistant Engineers, AB Oilers, and AB Cooks for West Coast division.

Mate - Reports to the Master, and assists in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, and is responsible for overseeing and directing the crew in their respective deck duties. It is the responsibility of the Mate to see that all deck operations and procedures are carried out in accordance with approved company policies and procedures. Minimum requirements: Mate of Towing Near Coastal endorsement. Preferred requirements: Oceans endorsement and STCW.

Assistant Engineer & AB Oiler - Reports to the Master and Chief Engineer, and assists in the daily operation and maintenance of vessel machinery and equipment. The AB/Oiler carries out all instructions from the Master and Chief Engineer, and assists other crew members as requested in the performance of their duties. Minumum requirements for an AB Oiler are an AB Special, for an Assistant Engineer is a DDE license.

AB Cook - Reports to the Master, and is responsible for preparing and providing meals for crewmembers, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and good housekeeping in galley and food storage areas. Responsible for ordering, inventorying, rotating, and stowing of stores as necessary. The Deckhand/Cook assists in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Duties include vessel maintenance, and the daily deck operations, carried out in accordance with approved company policies and procedures. Minimum requirements is an AB Special and food handler certification.

Note all positions require valid TWIC. Must have or be willing to obtain passport.
