The Social Work Department in the College of Arts & Sciences at Seattle University (SU) invites applications for a Field Director position. The Field Director is a three year renewable term faculty open-rank (assistant, associate, or full) clinical professor position. Rank is commensurate with experience.  Anticipated position start date: July 1, 2024.

The SU Social Work Dept. has a CSWE-accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs. Field Director administers and is responsible for the overall operation of the Social Work field education program for BSW and MSW programs, including development, management, and assessment of the field practicum program; training and supervision of field faculty; and ensuring compliance with all Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) regarding Field education. As a faculty, the Field Director may teach undergraduate or graduate social work courses and is expected to provide appropriate service to the Department, College, and University.
