Licensed Professional Counselor/Autism Specialist

Full time

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate with service coordinators and families to assist families in accessing funding resources to cover autism treatments
Submit billing/utilization reports from all clinicians to PAC, service coordinators and DMH
Reconcile utilization of units and follow-up with accounts whose plans have lapsed
Complete billing reports for funding agents
Coordinate with scheduling assistant, clinical staff, and director to assign clients from the waitlist to appropriate services
Complete initial interview to determine the best services to provide through the center
Assist the diagnostic team by completing intake interviews for diagnostic purposes

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in clinical social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field
Licensed in the state of Missouri to practice within the candidate's field of behavioral health
1 year of experience working with the Department of Mental Health Division of Developmental Disabilities or with individuals with autism spectrum disorder/developmental disabilities
Ability to establish collaborative partnerships within the University and among regional service providers including Department of Mental Health and targeted case management agencies
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
