Position Summary

MARKETING DIRECTOR
Show Me Center
Full Time

Primary Responsibilities

Event solicitation
Media buying and placement
Advertising sales/sponsorships
Web page/Social Media management
Event promotion and publicity
Event management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, sports administration or related field
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrable experience in personnel supervision
Experience with contract development, negotiation and implementation
Experience in media advertising, public relations, and/or promotions
Sales experience
Demonstrate experience and/or knowledge in working in an arena environment
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Experience in event creation and planning
Demonstrate experience with website development; management and social media coordination
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
Proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and graphics software
Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
