- Support and maintain STORY’s mission and culture; serve as the key support to the GM in establishing store culture
- Mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire the team through training and performance reviews to ensure the company’s culture and expectations are met and exceeded
- Train store staff by reviewing, revising, and implementing training materials; delivering training sessions; understanding the staff needs of the store and build depth on the bench to ensure all Company initiatives can be expedited with ease
- Follow established policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines; and hold team accountable to following P&P
- Identify and develop process improvements in collaboration with the GM to assist with store growth
- Perform daily inventory audits and record daily and monthly category sales and ensure accuracy at all times
- Develop strong relationship with buying and supply chain team, and monitor, manage, and maintain proper inventory levels
- Ensure accuracy for all cash handling in the front of house and back of house
- Guide patients/customers and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
- Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cannabis, its various forms, its chemical composition, effects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics
- Present a professional image in appearance, actions, and words
- Abide by city and state regulations at all times
- Receive deliveries, build purchase orders, and maintain accurate records
- Complete daily and weekly tasks/duties as assigned by General Manager
- Maintain neatness, organization, and overall cleanliness of the entire store
- Attract customers by maintaining stores visual expectations; following display suggestions; assembling display properties; producing merchandise displays in showcases, and on sales floor
- Effectively and diplomatically troubleshoot store point-of-sale, coupons, and various patient issues
- Provide support with various employee initiatives and team building
- Provide support with various off and on hour events and specials
- Report any and all issues or complaints relating to product to the District Manager, Inventory Manager, and Retail Operations in real-time
- Prior experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, and/or cannabis preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or four years’ experience in medical clinic and/or management experience with customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Can legally work in the United States - all documentation required
- Applicant must consent to a criminal background check
- Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds
- Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have no scheduling restrictions, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Adhere to confidentiality standards.

Education
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required, Associate Degree or above preferred.
