Meet the required standards for Peace Officers and be POST Certified. Effective written and oral communication skills for report writing, addressing students, employees, and the public. Student centered with the ability to create a welcoming environment for our diverse faculty, staff and students. Ability to handle information in a sensitive and confidential manner, to follow standard operating procedures, and to make good judgment decisions. Five years in a university police department. Emergency Management or First Responder Certification.
